Click Animate: A Brief Review

What makes a boring website? Lack of read-worthy content aside, that would be a stale design, usually consisting of a wall of text with occasional pictures in between paragraphs or none at all. Well, that can be easily fixed with decent themes, but those will only deal with the layout and design elements. If you are looking for something better than that, you might want to spice up your already sleek website with some animation. You heard that right, webpage animation is slowly becoming a thing these days, and if you want to hop on the bandwagon, you might want to consider checking out Click Animate, a new product from Josh Ratta.

This product is basically a plugin that allows users to animate any element on their webpage in a single click. It is promised to work with any page builder or WordPress theme. This product will be available from $17 to $37, depending on your preferred license.

To start with, the interface looked rather user-friendly, as it does not inundate you with a lot of options; just what you need to get the job done. Graphics-wise, Click Animate’s animations are very playful, although you can easily adjust the magnitude and intensity. However, do be warned that it can be easily overdone, and you may end up with a webpage that looks pretty much like those overly-animated PowerPoint presentations.

What’s left to explore with this plugin is whether or not it’s easy to set up. We’ll certainly know about that once the product is launched on September 8, 2015, 11:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time. We will update this post with the rest of this review, so if you are interested, feel free to hit that bookmark button and come back some time after launch date.
