A Short and Concise Review of the CTR Samurai

Internet marketer Paul Forcey and his team have their latest offering, the CTR Samurai, morning of this 17th of June 2013. It costs $17 upon launch and is still priced the same as of the time of this writing.

The CTR Samurai is a desktop software that can be used to create FB ads that actually gets clicked on, thereby negating the so-called FB ad blindness that’s prevalent in a majority of social media users. This software is based on Adobe Air, and to deliver on its promise, it allows the user to upload any image, resize it in a format suitable for FB, and add eye-catching borders and call-to-action buttons.

To recap, the program resizes any uploaded image and adds eye-catching elements to it before you can put it up as an advertisement on Facebook. It’s pretty much that simple.  However, has it truly delivered on its promise of an increased click-through rate for your ads?

From a social media user’s perspective, the simple additions of bright borders and call-to-action buttons can certainly catch attention. However, what really secures a click will always be what’s within the borders. That means that in the end, the Samurai will only work well with offers that are truly interesting to the right niche.

As for the price, however, we do feel that it’s a bit expensive for such a simple application. We’ve seen some light programs that’s just as simple but are priced at $10, give or take. Nevertheless, $17 is still within the price range that everyone can afford, so we’re still okay with that.

Overall, this is a product that would be useful to Facebook marketers who don’t have access to or the ability to use advanced graphic software like Photoshop. Now this means that the product is completely unnecessary if you have a better software or a good graphic designer in your employ, both of which can do a far better job. To conclude, we’ll give this product a nice 3 out of 5 stars.
