Software Review: VooPlayer
Wistia might not be as widely used as YouTube, but it has proven itself to be a useful tool for businesses. This is mostly due to its detailed analytics, as well as integration with external statistics tools like Google Analytics. This Tuesday morning, the 11th of August, 2015, 11:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time, Peter Beattie will be unveiling a new product that promises to outdo Wistia: the VooPlayer cloud-based video marketing software.
VooPlayer is the creation of John Socratous and Bill Zimmerman in cooperation with Internet marketers Peter Beattie and Aravindh Sridhar. Apparently, it is more than just a video player, it being marketed as “The Nightmare of Wistia” and all. It can actually do plenty of things, combining features that are never seen together in many commercial video players.
One of its features is an Analytics that lets you see through the behavior of your viewers. A second feature is Hybrid Cloud Hosting, which allows you to stream videos from your Dropbox, and you don’t need to upgrade your Dropbox account for that matter. Another is a Single Link option that allows you to split test for conversion, engagement, and shares, and this also works in Facebook. Lastly, the software also allows you to create live webinars and retarget viewers who are actually interested in the video.
This cloud-based video marketing software will cost $37 on launch date. Is it worth that much, however? We will figure that out in our review that will show up on this post on launch date. If you want to know more about this new product and make an informed decision, be sure to bookmark this page and come back later for our review.
